Fauna
The Daintree Rainforest has a big variety of flora and fauna but im going to talk about the many things that are living in the rainforest. There are many different types of animals that are native and are living in the forest. This includes the tree kangaroo, different types of cassowaries, dragon lizards, salt water crocidiles in the waters of Queensland and Giant Birdwing Butterflies. There are also a number of birds which have many species. There are about 455 types of birds and some birds are the Great Billed Heron, Black Bittern and the little King Fisher. The little King Fisher is about five centimeters long and is mostly blue with a bit of yellow, black and blue on the tummy.
